Excellent Machine

I like the stability of it. For a small machine its well built. I weigh 280 and its solid. Wish the seal was adjustable and softer. Trying to find a jell cover for it. Also it is very quiet so you can watch and hear the game on TV with no problem.

Decent Entry Level

I think it can be a decent entry level bike for recovery from injuries or light workout, nothing more. The heart monitor, important for serious exercise, works only if you keep the hands on the handlebar sensors all the time, and I mean ALL the time. Otherwise it takes a while for it to indicate wha...

I use this bike around 5 times a week. Having it makes it easy to get some really good cardio in before I start my day. I recently had a knee replacement surgery and I wanted to have something to help keep my knees strong and this bike is great for that. I'm also a cancer survivor that has had 3 major abdominal surgeries in the last year and using this bike has helped me to build up my strength after treatment. I love the different programs, it's super sturdy and quiet and it's definitely worth the price. It was easy to put together by myself and it was easy to figure out the programs. I'm so happy with it!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

On the back of the a20 console is "machine type switch" - B or E. Please explain what B and E mean.

Asked by teamo6
Verified Reply - DarleneHi!- Great question! For the Schwinn A20; The Machine Type switch (N) on the Console is preset at the factory to B (bike) or E (elliptical). If you replace the console, it will possibly be necessary to set the switch for your machine. After you set the switch, it is necessary to turn the power off and then turn it back on to start the new mode of operation. Hope this helps!- Schwinn TeamWas this answer helpful to you
